Torquay Group has unveiled its brand identity, marking an exciting next step in its journey to transform the future of highways, construction, and infrastructure.
Bringing together four specialist companies — Solar Gates, MVIS, Bartco Australia, and P&D Specialist Services — Torquay Group is more than the sum of its parts. Each brand leads in its field, but together, they deliver integrated solutions that keep people safe, projects moving, and sustainability at the heart of infrastructure.
The story behind the name Torquay goes back to the group’s beginnings. Its founders discovered a personal link to two towns, both called Torquay — one on the English Riviera, the other on Australia’s southern coast. On opposite sides of the globe but connected, these places represent shared values of heritage, ambition, and global reach. That connection became the inspiration for the brand.
The new identity reflects those roots while looking firmly ahead. Torquay is positioned as a trusted partner for industries facing new challenges.
“Torquay is about culture as much as capability,” said Scott Paton, Group CEO. “We invest in people who think differently, we back innovation, and we believe social value should sit at the heart of business. The new brand reflects who we are, but more importantly, where we’re going.”
With solar and technology at its core, Torquay Group continues to push sustainability in infrastructure delivery, helping reduce carbon, cut waste, and design for the long term. Its strapline — Experience | Growth | Expertise — captures both its heritage and its ambition.
This launch is the start of a new chapter for Torquay Group — one built on collaboration, innovation, and a determination to build safer, smarter, and more sustainable futures.
